Peace on Earth

Hello,

Now that everything is unpacked from the move, I can concentrate on stamping. I have a few more days off so I plan to stamp.... a lot! While I can sew a straight line using fabric, I am challenged when it comes to sewing paper. The stitching is a little wonky... guess I need more practice.

dp: noel measuring cup (double sided)

embellies: felt snowflake, button, round cuttlebug die, satin ribbon: ms lace punch

Altered Cylinder

Hello,

Lost my mojo a little since the move. Not to mention more than half of my supplies are still packed until I get some shelving installed.
Yesterday I purchased something that came in a cylinder shaped box. I thought it might make a great container to use as a gift box. I covered it in holiday dp from Basic Grey called Laurel Leaves. I might stuff it with sweet treats for someone.

We're here!

Well we're here..... in our new home. The move went well, it rained only while traveling to our new destination then stopped when we got here so nothing got wet. What an experience! My nails are all broken, I have bruises everywhere and my muscles are aching. But I'm happy to be here. It's been a long road but well worth it.
As I sit here typing, there are two blue jays hopping around the backyard looking for treats, a squirrel bouncing around digging in the soil... the sun is shinning and there's a little breeze making the few leaves left on the trees gently float to the ground.
I don't know when I'll be stamping again... all my craft things are still in boxes.

Well, I'd better get back to unpacking....making this new place my home!

It's moving day!

Good Morning All,
Today is the day we start moving into our new place. We will be taking some delicate items by car today and then the movers come tomorrow to move the big stuff.
I feel like I've been packing for months. It will be nice to get settled and not live in an obstacle course of boxes.
I will be signing off today and packing up the computer. I should be up and running by November 1st. I can't wait to get stamping again!!!

On the move

Hi folks,
I am in packing mode... getting ready to move. For the next few weeks I won't have any time for stamping :( or posting. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates after living in the same place for 35 years. There are boxes everywhere! I've decided to get movers to help us because I don't think our old rickety bones will with stand the move.
I hope you'll pop back in a few weeks, once I'm settled and can find my stamping supplies! lol.

I'll still check my favourite blogs while my computer is still up and running.
